Meredith Oral History: Getting Started

This year, the Meredith Public Library started working on an oral history project documenting the 1968 Bicentennial celebrations that happened in Meredith, New Hampshire. The Meredith Oral History Project is still in its earliest stages, but we are excited to share our progress with you here as it unfolds!

In the upcoming months, we will seek out individuals who were in Meredith in 1968 during the Bicentennial either as participants or witnesses. We will record and archive interviews with those individuals. We will also make the interviews available to the public in celebration of Meredith’s 250th Anniversary (See our Mission Statement).
