In 1968, the community came together to commemorate Meredith history. The Meredith Public Library seeks to preserve the voices of this celebration in the wake of a new era of the town’s history. With the Meredith Oral History Project, those that participated in or witnessed the community celebrations in 1968-1969 will be interviewed and their testimony collected and preserved in the Meredith Library archives. The recorded interviews will be made available to the public in celebration of Meredith’s 250th Anniversary
